The writers tend to age their characters as their actors age. This would mean that we're seeing a Ben who is a couple years older than the Ben we saw in the season three. In that episode, Ben had just met Richard Alpert. My theory: the young Ben we just saw in Namaste is already working for the Hostiles as a kind of double agent. This could mean that when Ben asks Sayid if he wants any mustard, he could be talking in code. Is he asking Sayid if he wants or thinks a recue mission is plausible? The irony: while Ben would be trying to help Sayid, Sayid would probably want to kill Ben. Also, on a non-related note, I have a feeling (and borderline theory-that's-not-really-a-theory) that Phil/Radzinsky will be trouble for our Losties.
